What is Normies Commons?
A holder-built community project for transforming treasury-held Normies through Canvas edits. Community-built. Not affiliated with or endorsed by the Normies team.
How Transformations Work
The treasury holds Normies. Holders vote on which Normie becomes the next transformation target. Proposals are Commons-generated or admin-imported as 40×40 add/remove pixel maps. Canvas edits execute on-chain. The original and transform layer are stored permanently. Guest artists can join future rounds through Normies Atelier.
Design Shares
Design Shares are collectible participation receipts for a specific transformation round. They let you vote on the design direction and appear in the Round Ledger. Not equity. Not ownership of treasury Normies. Not financial rights.
Proof of Pixels
Design Shares are Proof of Pixels — collectible participation records for each Normies Commons transformation round. When contracts go live, participating wallets will be issued a soulbound Round Receipt as permanent proof of their role in that transformation.
Round Receipts
Round Receipts are the intended soulbound (non-transferable) participation artefacts for each round. ERC-1155 contracts are not yet deployed. When live, each participating wallet will receive a Round Receipt — a permanent, immutable record of their role in that transformation. Receipt art will be generated from the final transformed Normie, the winning design, the participant's tier and round data.
Voting
Normies holders get 1 vote per Normie. Design Share collectors get 1 vote per Share. Sensitive actions — burns, sales, listings — require Normies holder approval. Your support is public. Your vote can stay private.
Treasury & Safe
All funds are held in a Gnosis Safe multisig. 2-of-3 signers required. The Safe address, owners and threshold are always public. Every transaction is linked.
Canvas Mechanic
Normies Canvas lets holders burn Normies to earn action points, then add or remove pixels on treasury-held Normies. The transformation cost = pixels to add + pixels to remove on the target Normie. Negative space matters as much as new pixels.
